SAVE OR SPLURGE: 24-HOUR TATTOO EYELINER

10:37 PM

In today's generation, makeup has become a way of making a statement. From light Korean-inspired looks to the glamourous contours of the Kardashians and the Jenners, makeup has become an essential to almost every girl (or some guys) out there. I've also learned that the top three common makeup items a girl should have in her bag are the following: a. Face Powder, b. Lippie and c. Eyebrow Pencil/Gel

Yes. All it takes for an everyday to-go look are these three! But wait, there's one more... There's a fourth one. One could go for the blush as the fourth one but I prefer the eyeliner more as the eyes are the windows to the soul. Seriously! I do believe that's the first thing someone would notice about you -- your eyes. What better way to emphasize those pretty windows? Choose the perfect eyeliner.

These liquid lifesavers have really become a "thing" ever since the K-pop revolution, I think. Have you ever noticed how Koreans still look so attractive even with almost nothing on their faces? That's all thanks to the magic of liquid eyeliners. They make your eyes come out plus if you're not fond of mascaras, this is your saving grace! So I picked two good eyeliner brands for you today, my dear readers. The best part? The cheaper one and the more expensive one are both super good as I've been a frequent user of both brands for a while now.

SAVE!
Nichido 24 Hr Tattoo Effect Eyeliner Pen

You can get this at any Watsons branch and you can buy it for only P238.00! You don't have to sacrifice quality just because of the price and I guess that's one of the nice things about this product. There are lots of good drugstore makeup too and Nichido is just one of them. For a tattoo eyeliner, it's really affordable and it really stays, like you don't have to apply the product every once in a while.

Nichido Tattoo Eyeliner applied in two layers
Excuse my annoying moles!
The result is quite dramatic if you ask me. The first layer is thicker compared to the first layer of the second product. I've added one more stroke of the product so that my wing can be emphasized. If you love to do the wing effect on your eyes, it's gonna be easier when you use this because of the felt tip point of the pen. Yup, it actually works like a marker. The tip is more solid compared to the other product which means you can be more in control with the product as you glide it on your eyelids. (I even used it to draw on my face when I did my Harley Quinn makeup for Halloween!)

SPLURGE!
K-Palette 24 Hr Real Lasting Eyeliner (0.05)

This is totally a steal for us Asian makeup lovers! Being one of Japan's most celebrated brands, K-Palette introduces this easy-to-use tattoo eyeliner and you can choose the size of the pen. As for me, I like my liquid eyeliner as thin as possible as I don't want to look super made-up. Just a little would do so I chose the 0.05 size. But hey don't get me wrong, you can do all sizes of lines with this eyeliner. You can even make your lines thick using this if you want. It all depends on how many strokes you create. The more strokes, of course, the thicker it gets.

As you can see, this eyeliner's effect is not super black and the product goes for the more natural effect. The point is to emphasize the shape of your eyes without overdoing it. It's more expensive compared to the former but the quality pays off a lot. The consistency of the product is great and it stays on for most of the day. Get this at any Beauty Bar outlet for P799.00!

On days you look kinda pale or you feel like your face needs something new, the liquid eyeliner is one of the many ways to vamp your look in no time. Whether you're off to the office or to a party, redo your look by changing the thickness of your eyeliner. You know what you gotta do, just handle everything like an eyeliner. You just gotta wing it! (Just being my corny self right now. Don't mind me.)

How about you? Any good products you could recommend or you would want me to make a review on? Do let me know.
