MY BASIC SUMMER ESSENTIALS

WHAT'S INSIDE MY BAG FOR THIS SUMMER
Here are the stuff I'm never gonna think of leaving during the summer. Whether it's hitting the beach, hangout out at a tea or coffee shop or go travel to different places, these top five should always be in my bag.
I always have my journal with me wherever I go. I easily forget stuff so I tend to write everything down a lot. My journal also serves as my planner already. I'll only forget stuff if I had to buy two separate ones. And if you're a person who has a love for words and jotting down experiences, you should definitely have one. It's also a great companion for you to unleash your inner thoughts and putting memories into paper.
I never forget my glasses too! For a mere mortal with not-so-good-eyesight like me, I have to carry it with me all the time or my farsightedness will let me miss books or blogs that I've been always wanting to read. But for those with blessed eyesight, of course you'd have to stick with the summer must-have -- sunnies!
The third essential thing that we often forget is the sunblock. The heat is crazy lately, don't you think? So protect your skin and be armed using the Nivea Sun Whitening Immediate Sun Protection with SPF 50. I've been using this since I was in my 2nd year College and it has done a lot for my skin. I have this weird reaction to the sun whenever I stayed too long under it before but after a time of looking for the perfect skin protection, I finally found it. So, don't forget to put on a bit of sunblock even if you're just going out of the house and Mr. Sun is way up there shedding the heat. There are other good brands though but for me, I got this proven and tested. Proud Nivea Girl over here! And it's a win-win too since this product has a whitening effect and protects your skin at the same time.
And of course, the dynamic duo. My last basic must-have is my Apple Ipod Shuffle and a good set of earphones. No summer would be complete without being under the influence of good music. My summer soundtrack includes the songs of Avicii, Alesso, Zedd, One Republic, The Killers, and the list simply goes on. Make sure to download songs that make you feel good. Good music always speaks to you, it changes you.
