So, what has basically dominated my closet? Gingham prints. This checkered trend has made a comeback in the world of fashion lately. It has also been widely used as a fashion statement since the late 40s and 60s. I'm digging how it could suddenly give one that fresh, youthful vibe. Honestly, it's not easy to pull off without looking like a picnic table cloth. (I bet I'm not the only one who thinks that way. Haha!) But with the right color and accessories, we can totally flaunt the modern-day gingham girl look.

Here's a new outfit idea for this month, my style-loving friends! In some countries, the month of May usually equates to spring or flowers, so I'm incorporating my look with daisies. One of the trending items you can see in most shops these days is VELVET. I think it has been a hype since way back our mothers' teenage years. The comeback is real. I tried to sneak in a little outfit post after swimming with my girls at Ultra Winds Mountain Resort here in Cagayan de Oro City. As you can see, my hair is still fresh from our morning dip. But who cares? Messy hair, don't care!
