I couldn't get over the fact that last July 23, 2016, I finally met the girls I've always been eye-ing on from their blogs to their Lookbook profiles to their perfect Instagram feeds. They're also one of the reasons why I've even started blogging! This is seriously #fangirlgoals.
All thanks to The Nest. Thank you so much for having me as one of the few people who get to personally meet and greet these beauties!

So, ever since this area along Corrales-Avenue here in Cagayan de Oro City was under construction, it got me feeling excited already. As the days went by, it started to look like this classy-looking doll house in white. Everything about the exterior part of this restaurant seemed really appealing. Now that it has finally launched its grand opening, even the interior part amazed me more. The Nest is divided into two parts -- Giuseppe and Maison de Bonbon whereas the former focuses on European-inspired style and cuisine while the latter focuses on Italian dishes. The menus from both are truly appetizing!
Anyway, I'll stop babbling about how awesome the restaurant is and let me spill you the deets about this memorable experience with my favorite bloggers!

I'm meeting my fashion icons so of course, there's no way I'm not dressing up for that event. I figured white would be a safe color as usual, so yeah. As not to look super formal, I paired the bottom with this sabo top to give a playful aura.

At Maison de Bonbon where the meet and greet was held, I've met lots of different personalities and made new friends which I think was one of the best parts. Many of them were bloggers, designers and some of them just really loved the idea of fashion and photography. Everyone was so friendly and the staff was so accomodating. The event was hosted by the bubbly James Tubeo who really did a good job doing his thing.

The CAMILLE CO came in the room first and were all gushing as you can see. One by one they went in and we all got so stunned. I mean, who wouldn't? They were so gorgeous. And finally, I can say that after seeing them in the flesh! Camille Co and Laureen Uy were like a seat away from me lang! The Enciso sisters and Nicole Andersson were across the table. Their boyfriends were even there to support them. (Supportive boyfriends! Gaaah, so sweet!) I cannot even.....

Luckily, we were also able to mingle and ask them questions. Our topics ranged from blogging to fashion faves and even dealing with haters. One of the essential things I learned from them is to just be your authentic self and never mind the negative people. Despite their fame, there will still be people who pull them down. And maybe that's just inevitable because no matter what you do, haters will always have something to say.
"Minsan ang sarap ng patulan pero you know what, just appreciate them. Dapat flattered ka pa nga na they even had the time to look over your photos and notice your flaws." Nicole Andersson shares.

Quota na ako sa photos with Vern and Verniece! Hahaha. Okay, just let me be! It's their style I've always looked up to and they were both so sweet and adorable! Verniece even took a snapchat vid of us (like omg!!!) and I found our photo in their blog. Double OMG!

That Saturday afternoon was so worth it that until now, it's still so fresh in my memory! Glad to meet these beautiful people and hopefully, there would be a next one! Hahaha! Cheers to The Nest for a very successful grand opening!

Ayyyy... Haba lang ng hair!!! I am beyond kilig!!! Such an early birthday present indeed!
