HONGKONG DISNEYLAND

7:45 AM

To one of the happiest places in the world we go ~ HONGKONG DISNEYLAND!!! I think it's an undisputed fact that this is the best part of my trip. Everything here reminded me so much of my childhood. The inner child  in Me and Ton automatically surfaced!

Not-so-hidden Mickeys everywhere
Cutest train ride ever
I'm sure the excitement only grew more as we rode the final train from Sunny Bay to Disneyland. The last train is free so don't worry about that. But if you've read from my previous HongKong travel post, we've started from Tsim Sha Tsui. Our fare from Tsim Sha Tsui to Sunny Bay costed 45 HKD (Php 270 / 1 HKD = Php 6) for the both of us. I suggest you buy your tickets ahead so you won't have to take the long lines at the ticketing area. One ticket costs 500 HKD (Php 3000) but you can buy it for a discounted price at stores. In our experience, there are lots of little shops or convenience stores selling tickets at Tsim Sha Tsui.

Praise God for good weather!
I'm sure you know what to do when you get there. Just simply enjoy and if possible, try all of the rides! I promise you, there are no boring ones! We totally felt like kids again (I mean, wait what? We act like kids all the time! Haha!). You know what? Just get lost! By all means, please do! It's more fun!

But of course, they'll give out free maps when you get there so no need to worry. The staff here speak really good english and they're very accomodating too so more reason not to worry. You could enjoy this place for one good day but in our case, due to limited time, we got here in the late afternoon already but we still REALLY enjoyed it nevertheless. I'm just really happy that we were able to try everything and that it was so worth it. It pays to have good time management skills when you're traveling. I don't have that skill so I'm just glad my travel buddy is good with that. Hahaha!

I don't want to spoil your whole Disneyland experience, you guys, but I would like to share my top favorite rides that you MUST NOT miss when you get there. Just go for these following rides and let me know what you think.

1. TOMORROWLAND

Our adventure begins here...

You're in it for a surprise! No wonder this guy's so happy. He's the real adrenaline junkie and I'm scared of heights, so... What a pair, right?

Don't forget to take photos but don't use up all your time for it! Learn to put your gadgets down (when you can) so you can really enjoy the moment.

2. TOY STORY LAND

You might have an idea what this is though. *winks*

3. MYSTIC MANOR
This one, I must say, was the magical one of all rides!

4. BIG GRIZZLY MOUNTAIN

Trust me on this but this was my top favorite out of all my top 4 (okay, I'm weird like that). But yeah, this ride is a MUST!!!

For the other rides, you have to see for yourself. *insert evil laugh*

Guess who I was trying to get here
It's a small world after all!

Legit emote shot. Hahaha!

Oh yes, good #ootd opportunities for all of us too!

Now, finally, the grand finale...

My heart was totally fluttering back there and it made my heart ache in a good way. This place is really a happy place. It takes all your worries away. My favorite Disney songs were being played in the background as everyone watched the fireworks go booming up the sky. Gaaah, it was so beautiful. Every time I remember this part, I smile to myself as I remember the feeling at the same time. That's why Ton and I made it our bucketlist thing to visit the seven Disneylands in the world. I know it would take a while but I know it's not impossible.

Cheers to more travels in God's perfect time. Thanks for reading!
