Have you ever imagined your life as a movie sometimes? I SWEAR THAT'S MY FAVORITE PAST TIME! My life is seriously influenced by books and movies so much that I daydream about it most days. Yes, I'm weird like that.

I mean, I even watch these films till now, even though people are so obsessed with reality shows lately. Not only is she one of Manhattan's elite and undeniably gorgeous, she's definitely no dumb brunette. Talk about being powerful -- beauty and brains. She always gets what she wants (I mean almost always) and she always has the coolest sarcastic lines through the whole series. I love how stunningly regal her style is. Gossip Girl would just be boring without her! Though Blair's character could be too much sometimes, I've always admired how beneath all that childishly manipulative demeanor, she actually has a big heart for the people she loves.

She might first seem like a party girl with no substance, who cares only about money and about looking for fun, but if we care to really connect with her character, we see that there's a lot more there.

Aside from the hit series Scream Queens, Emma's always good with the spoiled rich girl act. I've always admired how Poppy Moore's story in Wild Child turned out. From a badass party girl to a lesser badass girl who found her way in life through healing in an all-girls academy. Her lines are so entertaining here. I could even hear them in my head sometimes!

The most hilarious show of my childhood indeed! I always hurried to turn the TV on whenever it's time for That's So Raven! Raven is one of the people I look up to still because she's confident, fun and her family and friends are the best! I love how she embraces her flaws and how she always tries to turn her bad days (like seeing a vision of a bad thing about to happen then finding out she caused it) to good days by just being her crazy self.

Her role was also very unforgettable for me during my younger years. She's strong and she's really a true best friend to Claire who was portrayed by Emma Roberts. Jojo, the real-life singer, is equally admirable as well. Though she shares that she had a hard time going through life when her parents divorced, she remains hopeful and that won't stop her from fulfilling her dreams.

Your chick flick list wouldn't be complete without watching The Clique. It's a very interesting show produced by Tyra Banks actually. It emphasizes so much about friendships, popularity and bullying. The youth can really empathize with it -- whether you're a Massie or a Claire. Massie is the mean girl and the leader of their clique at school. She's very possessive of her friends and being the queen bee, she knows and gets what she wants. At first, she's so intimidating but throughout the film, you'd realize that there's more to her character than meets the eye. This movie line of hers will always be a life lesson, don't you think?

Wish I could kick it through school just as she did! The movie did make law school seem easier though which in real life, it isn't! Nevertheless, thanks to Elle's confidence and determination to learn, she could just be every girl's inspiration to pass anything with flying colors! There will be people who are gonna underestimate you. I love this girl because everybody thought she couldn't do it and that being pretty is all she's every good at, but she obviously proved them wrong.

From the day I've started watching OTH, I've realized Brooke is definitely my spirit character or animal or whatever people call it these days. I've always looked up to her character for life lessons. You've known her as the head cheerleader of Tree Hill, Peyton Sawyer's BFF, Lucas Scott's ex-girlfriend, School President, Hoes Over Bros Fashion Designer, and the list goes on. Brooke's character is so much more. Despite her mistakes and flaws, she never apologizes for who she is and she is proof that your past doesn't define you.

Now that was nostalgic! I feel like watching these movies and series all over again. How I wish I had the time. This Christmas break, probably? Haha! I guess it's nice to find strength in characters from movies or books. Although these are just stories made by authors or writers, we can still learn a lot from them too. Maybe that's why they're created in the first place -- so we could feel or connect to/with the character. We don't just fall in love with the character's appearance (okay, it's a plus though) but the truth is, we fall in love with their words, their thoughts, in the hopes that we can relate somehow to their struggles and how they've found strength in the end.
